front coil spring isolaters

    I just finished taking off the other spring this time using the Orielys.."spork" still like the one rthomas shows... it worked alot better.. it was shifting on me the first few trys.. I ended up wedging my pry bar through the 'spork" pary and a few coils above it.. kept it from turning.. I think since these srings are so stretched out the the angle the coils have is too much for it.. the fun part is going to be the install once the insulators come in....

    that seems like a good idea.. that way you just end up bolting the saddle/perch onto the A-arm...

    Wow those things were chopped. No wonder it was pretty much riding on the bumpstops. SO are you going to cut a coil or two when you put the new ones on? Id cut atleast one and hopefully it wont be too high to have to do it again.

    I wasn't going to cut any.. but I do remember cutting some off my original GT.. and those were the OG 25 year old springs... I think cutting one might be good...

    Cut or be doomed to repeat. Isnt the back lowered a little? Either way stock height will be not cool on that car. It needs a little rake.

    the back sits a bit on the high side cause of the tires back there.. don't recall the size..
