Ok before I start, Yes, I checked the search, but did not see any info.Sorry if I missed it.On the bottom of the tach is 4 wires. Black, White, Green, yellow. Does any one know what hooksup with what or have a diagram, maybe some pix, with routing suggestions for wiring. Any info is great. Thanx!

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
    Black- ground
White- 12V(powered only when cluster lights are turned on)
Green- (-) terminal on ignition coil
Yellow- 12V(powered only when ign is on)

That is how my Sunpro is powered, but it does vary by brand. You could always look up to see if there's a manual available. I'm guessing yours is not a mass produced one, so you might not find a manual. Hood tachs are so cool :)

Sorry, My bad, the tach is a Dixco, ford, and because this is no longer 1969, I also have a MSD red ignition setup.

if your running a 6al msd box..the green wont go to the coil. it will go to the box instead. that's the way it's run on my autometer.

Do you hook up both white and yellow, or is it if you want it with clusters or the ignition?

Yellow is the power for the tach (Key ON). White is the illumination (Lights ON). And Green needs to run to the Tach Out on your MSD control box.
