I have just purchased a fixer upper 1971 Ford Maverick and I have run into a small road block...with not wanting to go to the dealer I decided to look here first for more information. Does anyone know where to get new slave cylindars for my year and model? it seems they may not make them anymore but I figure someone has got to have some somewhere! any leads would be greatly appreciated. I am also still currently looking online for the part...looking at dealer now. Thanks all! Have a great weekend!
Welcome aboard! When you say slave cylinders, are you talking about the wheel cylinders for the brakes? If so, I'd be surprised if you can't get them thru your local parts house. If they don't have them try http://www.AutoKrafters.com They also have a catalog for Maverick parts.
Welcome to the board!!!! I am from the other side of the hill in Colorado. I have collected quit a few parts and if I have something you need let me know. Also if work your side of the state maybe we could hook up and exchange parts we both need. I could meet you in Eagle.
Welcome from Ocala,Florida.... We are talking about moving to Colorado in the near future, with the Mav in tow...
from Northeast Pennsylvania You've come to the right place for assistance - I'm not sure how much help a dealer would be these days - most look at you funny when you say the work "Maverick"
