Comet's are considered "Automobiles", Mavericks are considered cars...:yup:

Keeping to the subject: my Comet has the hood emblem, and the gas cap emblem. Im assuming at one point it had an emblem on the tailpanel; If so, it was removed B4 I bought the car.

When I bought mine it only had the dash emblem. I still haven't decided but since it's a keeper I have plenty of time to decide. I kinda want to put small Ford ovals on the trunk lid and on the grille.

hum well by looking at this most most don't like emblems (sigh) here we ago again with "trying" to make new parts. lol!

but poll says lots kept them on.

so my question is... would you guys that have them on... change them out for billet ones? remember OE emblems are pot metal i am sure yours are pitted if you didn't re-chome them already.

you mean the ones in behind the glass those ones? like LDO caps and pre 73 grills ones?

what is a comet? lol! ;) you mean like a Haley?
Thack had those on his car years ago. ;) look nice though

Here is the way I look at it. I see NOS ones on ebay all the time. I see them as swap meets as well. I see no reason to repop the factory emblems. Now billet....that is another story.

I was thinking about keeping them on, but, I like the conversation it starts when people ask, "What's that thing?"
