so i fell into this 76 maverick with only 22,000 miles on it for $500 sounds great right, the bad news is the owner before me decided to take the car completly apart and then lost interest, the car is a new york car and was bought off of ebay from the original owner aprox 3 years ago, did anyone see this car for sale? well so far i have been sandblasting and repainting the enginbay as well as putting all new suspension in it, my plan is to keep it as stock appearing as possible but am ditching the 250 for a 306 i have hanging around from my 70. heres some pics so far. also if anyone is interested in a very good running 22,000 mile 250 let me know

Has it been repainted? Or is that the original paint? Looks sharp.

Wow, nice looking car from the pictures and you can't beat the price. Looks like the body is in good shape for being a NY car. I don't consider it bad news that the car is apart. Now you can put it back the way you want it and you'll know it's right. Nice score!

yes its an original paint car unfortinetly a car tent fell on the drivers side lightly denting the door and quarter plus most of the panels were chipped when it was taken apart, but either way it is amaxingly solid and a very easy resto even came with boxs of new parts for the suspension apparently the car karma gods are returning the favor now lol
