Not sure if this is the right place for this post???

The interior in my 73 is in perfect condition.

The 76 is partially gutted and smells like a litter box.

My plan is to transfer the entire interior from the 73.

The 73 has the non-retractable front seat belts, will these bolt up to the 76? or will I have to fabricate something?

I really do not like the 76 rear plastic / sill panels at all.

    Thanks,
    Jim P.

Your 1976 had retractable 3-point seat belts with the "spools" recessed in the rocker panels. If you remove them, You will have two big holes to cover with the carpet.

Your 1973 should also have retractable belts, but they would be different than the 1974-1977 style.

Your rear panels for the 1973 should be the same at the 1976, when it comes to how the seat belts come up through the slot. Where the rear panel meets the rocker panel is different from 1973 to the 1976.

If one of these cars is a 2-door and the other a 4-door.....no way would all this stuff swap.

What I would do is try to keep the 1976 belts. They are designed better and are safer in my opinion.

Both cars are 2-door w/ bench seats.

It should be an easy swap.

I'll be doing some dismantling this weekend.

    Thanks for the info!
