newby from the tarheel state

    Greetings all, just puchased this '74 Maverick grabber 302 this week as my 1/2century b-day project. I saw it on CL from the original owner and talked, made arrangments w/ him to check it out. Long story short, I looked at a mustang instead(didn't like it) and someone else beat me to it. A month or so later I'm just cruising CL one night and it appears for sale again. Apparently the young guy that bought it decided it just wasn't for him, so I took it off his hands. It has 97k orig mi. I'm happy and also impressed w/ this forum and all it provides. Let's go to work--Tim
