cracked exhaust manifold

    i have crack in my maifold on my 77 mav does anyone know what i could use to seal up the crack ive heard that j b weld would work but figured u guys would know something good to use. thanks

    Try Hooker 1601 Headers. That should seal it up.

    I wish I had a crack in my exhaust, just for the excuse to the wife to buy the headers... :rolleyes:

    You can try JB Weld first and if it doesn't work get it welded the right way using nickle welding rod.

    it will not work, happened to me all the time on my 3rd replacement and it will continue to break. this what it look like from inside the manifold
    now i think it got to do with the head vavle.....

    Nice of you to help, but I'd imagine he already figured out a solution some time during the seven years it's been since he asked that question.

    And since then, I have put on those headers!!!

    Didn't even have to convince the wife. I just accidentally won them on ebay!
