    Great idea, I did the same thing. I picked up a 96 Explorer for cheap, grabbed everything I needed. Good luck getting that engine out, they are a pretty nasty fit. Probably easier for you since it won't be rusted as badly as they are up here. The rearends have an offset, but some guys have put them right in their cars without centering them up.

    Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I've been using the search tab and coming up with ideas.

    While looking for my small v8 DD car, I decided on a maverick because of a hotwheels car I found.

    I'm very busy usually and have many different projects going on. The maverick is my priority now but I have stuff I've been working on for years. I'm needing to finish up an arctic cat powered 4x4 golf cart on 31" tractor tires for a guy, then I have many 4x4 projects.
