found some very interesting cars today while junkyarding.... a '69 Superbee, '72 'Cuda, '71 Challenger(s), more '68-'70 Satellite/Roadrunners than I can remember, a Demon, and alot more!!! pics in the link below... http://s70.photobucket.com/albums/i82/mean_maverick/junkyarding March 24 2012/
i find them all the time, but there's nothing "reasonable" when it comes to mopars lol. a good decklid easily fetches $300+ ('68 ones bring even more)
main reason to "dodge" them is to save your wallet lol....cause needless to say these aren't mavericks lol. Ive given more for a couple of my parts cars than mavericks cost that run/drive
Great photos - they make me think of a 73 Duster that I owned back in the mid seventies - I sold it and years later had a local cop run the VIN and it came up as "not registered in the Continintal United States" - I figured it went the same route that these Mopars went
Yeah i know hence "reasonable" mines not horrible but not super either Makes glass parts look apealing
The thing is..every one of those cars would be sold for a ton here and restore-able..that rust is nothing compared to what i see on cars.
Love a demon right about now. Last one I looked at needed alot of bodywork and floors replace. Rolling chassy. Asking $3000 I laughed at him. Month later I get an email. He'll go $2200 but he's keeping the rear end.
Me too. That'd look good on my old Wagonneer 4x4 chassis! D-O-D-G-E- don't over drive grannies engine, darned old dead greasy engine. M-O-P-A-R- move over pintos are racing, mostly old parts and rust, moments of power are rare. Yet I would still like to have a clean little '80s shortbed so my Cummins doesn't feel so alone amongst all the Fords.
