Okay so I'm well a new driver on the road and new to the world of muscle cars. But I am really curious as to what is the major differences between the Mavericks 70-77? I mean I know that the bumpers get bigger, armrests change, etc etc. But like is it really that much of a difference? Could you change something from a 75 onto a 70 and visa-versa?

They are all pretty much the same, 2 doors to 2 doors, and 4 doors to 4 doors. Other than the bumpers, and a few other items, pretty much everything interchanges with no issues (I'm sure someone will nit pick this).
If you buy a big bumper car, you can convert it to small bumpers once you find the correct parts. Just buy the best car you car, that is as close to what you want, as you can afford.
Don't rush into buying a Maverick or Comet, people have made that mistake before, only to get discouraged and sell it, or dump loads of money they don't have into it. Remember, it's a 35+ year old car, with 45+ year old technology.

70's have some werid differences again, but nothing that hasn't been dealt with before. Gas tanks can be a bit of a pain on them, to find a good one.

Well the biggest difference I was concerned with was like the shape of the front and length and that, stuff that was easily changeable.
