Picked up some new wheels

    A friend of mine changed the wheels on his 69 Mustang and sold me this set for $200! The back spacing is all wrong 4.5" with a 275/60/15 the rears hit the leaf spring hard.Had to throw them on for a pic anyway.They will fit my 67 Cougar with no problem thats probably what they will end up on.

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    i like your dog dish ones anyways. ;)

    i wish i could get a nickel for every time someone tells me they have 4.5 BS on their wheels and "it fits" now that's real BS. lol ;)

    Yea i had to stack up over a half inch of washers just to bolt them for the pic.The more i look at the wheels the more i want to paint the centers cast grey.My Cougar is dark green should flow well.

    I like the look. Is it my imagination or do the back tires get taller every time you try another rim? Which rims did you pull to try these? How about some side by side pictures apples to apples?

    Sure they fit...you just need .5" of washers. I dont see the problem. ;)


    I like the steelies better on your car anyhow Derek. Good buy none the less.

    I usually run 255/60's on it which are 26" tall the 275's are 28''.I will pull it out and snap some pics today with the 255's on.

    Well, I must have a wider rear end or something....my wheels have 6" backspacing!
    15x8 with 6" backspacing, and yes I measured them correctly, from the rim to the mounting face.

    Yea i sure was pacing the floor with the scotchbrite in my hand lol.Didn't scratch them up too bad they always can be put back.
