hmmm somthing to think about thanks bryant the bolts i got were 7/16ths and 2in long idk if i got the right ones yet im still at work but ill find out when im home i have a aod trans
you could be right on the bolts. i just cant remember. ive been working on chevys lately and they seem to do every bolt one size smaller than ford. so its hard to remember who uses what. i do think fords trans bolt heads use a 5/8s bolt head which should be a 7/16s bolt. i also seem to remember that the two top bolts are shorter than the 4 side bolts.

I just bought 7/16" x 14 - Grade 8 bolts for my manual transmission bell housing installation. I bought 1 1/2" for the top bolts, 2" for two of the side bolts and 2 1/2" long for where my clutch slave cylinder bracket will mount. Bruce
whats the power steering drop down bracket part number? Im going to make them fit with the ps and column shifter
