I have 5 cars but only 3 restored all of them being 70 models.. so i was outside and a guy pulled up, saying he wants to restore a car and he was looking at my 73 comet and asked would i sell it i said yes (wife wants some of my cars gone) and he asked me.. well how long does it take to get the car like u want it..i really couldnt answer him but i told him he needs to have the following...patience, a little extra money, a few cuss words, and most important a understanding spouse ( meaning they will understand that some weekends u wanna work on your project.. so what i'm asking is how long did it take for u all to get your car like u wanted. my 74 charger i started when i was 25...im 30 now lol....

About 9 yrs to get it drivable(with a couple years off in the middle). Time, money, and desire are all major factors
