Wasp nests behind the mirrors inside the dash and in the engine bay. Mice nests in the carb and rear quarters. Thats pretty much it, tons of parts tools lots of Mustang parts drive shaft, extra piping for exhaust etc etc.

Oh I suspect somebody was trying to convert the comet GT to a Maverick, he had almost all the pieces for the conversion.

It's for after you lose your keys and have to break in with a coat hanger ... ;)

PS ... I've never lost a set of keys.... Probably will now that I'm making that claim, but so far, so good.

In my first Maverick, a '74 Grabber I found a dead rat under the front seat, two dead mice under the back seat, two boxes of .22 bullets in the glove box, a 1975 road map for Florida, a book of matches from Shoney's (are any of those still around?) and other random crap. My current '72 Maverick had a trunk full of corn husks, moldy corn feed and beer cans when I bought it, and a couple of mummified mice. Car smelled like a mixture of alcohol, mouse crap and mold, just lovely. I ended up pulling the entire interior and hosing it out front to back with bleach and dish detergent, pressure washed the carpet, etc.

In the Maverick that's going to be my next driver, I found a license plate from South Carolina that expired in '93, some guys drivers license that expired in '89 and an unopened package of peanut M&M's that had an August of '91 expiration date. Of course I had to open them... the peanuts themselves were sort of intact, but everything else had just turned to dust.. lol
