where do I go to get front brake hoses for a 1970 Maverick with drum brakes? tried Ford, NAPA, autozone, advance, orilies etc. no luck. most of the idiot kids working there try to sell me the rear even after I asked specificaly for the front hoses. anybody got a sorce for these?

Good luck, very hard to find as they were only used on one year. You do see them on eBay occasionaly. You might be able to take your old ones to a shop and have new hoses crimped onto your hard tubing / brackets.

    :agreed:

I hope you have your old ones. One year - one model only, and nobody makes them anymore.

I have had a hydraulic hose shop rebuild a pair from my old ones - costs about $75. I did ask a vintage hose shop that remakes old brake hoses about running some for the Maverick world. He said no way would he invest the money, as in 10 years in business I was only the second person that ever asked about Maverick hoses. :(

Now you have an excuse to convert to front disc brakes...

Take your old ones with you and match them up to 71 - 74 Maverick, Comet and the same years in Mustangs, except in Mustangs it would be 70 - 73. I would think it's some dinky little change they made that you could work with! :)
