killing spiders

    I actually have a lizard that lives on/in/around my Mav. He's growing pretty quickly though I'm not sure what he's eating. Seems to be partial to the driver's side fender well and sunning himself on the windshield. I did have some ants when I started taking the car apart and just used the same bug spray I had mixed up for general yard bugs. No ants now.

    Black widows scare me. Found a dead one inside the left rear hub when I first brought the Mav home. Dead but still fresh looking... hourglass on its bottom still very bright red.

    Brown Recluse spiders are even worse. Had an ex girlfriend who alomost lost her leg due to a Brown Recluse bite. 25 days in the hospital (10 days, released and returned 4 days later for another 15 days), left with a large dent in her leg that looks like a wild animal took a bite out of her. Infection/poison got so bad the docs considered amputating her leg at the knee but waited one more day to see how it went and she started improving during that day. Very close thing though

    Spiders don't bother me much. I squash the poisonous ones and leave the others alone, or even move them away from whatever I'm doing. I don't mind non poisonous snakes either, but don't care to get near them, unlike my girlfriend.. she'll just pick them right up... I'm too chicken s#!t for that.. lol
