Just got the 302 back from the shop freshed up. Putting into 75 comet. I need some help on water pump rotation and the best (junkyard) candidates for the pulley setup. Any nightmare scenerios i might run into and retail spots if i have too. Thanks for any suggestions. You are all the best....

If your going to run a V-belt setup, just get a water pump for a 75 comet 302 (30-$40) and order a set of March pulleys from Summit ( 120ish i think ). 160 bucks should do it.

I just used 5.0 pulleys i think the waterpump was for a 85 crown vic.I dont have power steering or A/C that might complicate things.

I used a standard rotation pump on a '74 timing cover and late 80s Crown Vic pulleys so that I could use a poly belt to turn the 3G alternator. With the old alternator I ran a v-belt using old stock Ford Mustang / Falcon pulleys.
