I just picked up a '71 Maverick and it has a glove box where the tray is. It looks like flat metal with three bead rolls along its lenth, and its curved at the point were it meets the corner. Does anyone know if this was a factory op, or did someone just do a realy good job on it. o and it has a keyed push button lock. I've never seen on anywhere.

It was an aftermarket thing you could buy.

Don't ditch that FM converter. They can fetch some dollars on ebay if you don't want it.

Thanks Craig, a few of my other "car nut" buddies sais the same thing. I just gor the car and still trying to get it running. Its the most compleate car I've ever seen in person. Pais $300 for it, and its in better shape than my '73 Comet and '70 Mav, It just needs a good going thru. Another odd thing is it has a flat rear deck cover. Well from the pics, you can see it has a radio. It must have just the one in the dash. It has a completely flat back seat too.(weird). Later Craig.
