Greetings All: Joined up in 09 and then was out of circulation for a time. Am back with a car and enjoying the forums and the people. Have had some contact with various members and have appreciated their input and support of my acquistion of a car. Have been a long time Ford guy with Mustangs and Torino and Fairlane. Was a Mopar man for many years as well with a Cuda-Swinger 340 -Runner and Charger to my enjoyment. As a kid grew up in a GM household as my Dad sold Chevys for a living, so naturally my first car was a Chevelle and a Camaro. Have had a blast over the years with all my cars and now really looking forward to my new ride - a 73 Comet GT done up. Looking forward to sharing time and input with other members and the chance to attend a group outing. As soon as I get a few more posts under my belt I can throw up some pics. Welcome Back!! You are in luck. The Maverick Comet Club International, Inc. (MCCI) will be holding their 19th Annual Roundup Nationals in Dearborn, Michigan this July 24-29. My buddy Bob Sinden runs a body shop in tillsonburg. Not sure which one...He did all the body on my car when he worked at our place. Great guy and awesome body man.
