Does anyone know if a 460 is a swap into a Maverick, I know they will go into a fox body with little modifications, and a 390 came in some 67-68 Mustangs so it sounds good on paper...............anyone have any advise?

I have seen one that used the front subframe and suspension from a 70 Mustang.
Basically, they took the entire front end and towers from a 70 Stang and put it in place of the entire Mav front end... then hung the Maverick sheet metal onto the Stang engine bay.
The Stang's front track is wider, so even skinny tires fill the wheel wells. Otherwise, a deep backspace would be needed to fit more streetable rims/tires. Inside the engine bay, it can be made to look very stock since you keep the shock towers and all.
The only way to do this radical a swap though, is major surgery. Either the 70 front end, or the M2 swap to rid the shock towers.

The FE engines require notching the towers and swap headers... along with some mount fabbing I'm sure.
