Thinking about selling my 72 Sprint. It has the original V8 drive train with only 86k miles on it. The car has never been wrecked, It has been repainted and the paint is real nice. Interior is real nice. The car runs great, I would drive it anywhere. You can see the pictures in my gallery.
The question is what is the car worth? I hate to sell it but I’m thinking about buying a different house and could use the money down.

It's worth whatever someone will pay for it. But, I think a good starting point might be somewhere in the $5k range.

I'm probably no where near the expert that many of you regulars are.. but I have been looking for one of these cars(more like waiting for one to fall into my lap) all over the net for the last 5 years or so.. and I too would agree with all of that.

Also, and as with most anything, timing is usually the key to finding the right money/buyer for a particular item.

Good luck with it and sorry to hear you're in such a spot to have to sell it.

Its only worth as much as I AM WILLING TO PAY. And sorry to say that it isnt a whole lot due to available funds. But when you are available go ahead and drive it over and receive your check. You can thank me later.

I was thinking around 8K to be honest. I've seen Hot Rod Mavericks go for that much. I would like to think that someday it might be worth more. Not many of them left out there.:)

Last one I saw sell on ebay was 9,024. And it was in need of a major restoration. So its worth what people will pay you for sure, put it up for the minimum you need for down payment.. and watch the bidding start :thumbs2:

All I know about your car is what you put in the post. Looks VERY nice. It appears to be one of the best, most original Sprints still around. I HOPE you get at least $8K, but I'm biased.

That's not a bad idea. I have a friend that sells cars on ebay all the time. He does early mustangs. I could get him to sell it for me.:dancing:

Yeah its even free to list them right now, and its easy enough to do yourself.
But if you have a friend, might help with his history rating. (y)
