There is what I think is called a Deluxe gas cap up for bid on ebay. It is one of those chrome ones with ridges and the steer head. The bid says its for 70-77. I have a 70. Was that style cap only available on a 70? Also if anyone is bidding on it, let me know. I do not want to drive up the price on a member here.

The cap in the eBay auction posted here is a 1970 specific cap. It will fit others years but is correct for 1970 cars.
Doesn't Craig's site say they were on 70 Grabbers? I like the standard one better personally. I got a nice one on eBay for like $15 just for a spare in case mine ever walks away.
I know the deluxe cap was available up through 1974 on LDO cars. Just a warning: I have seen the deluxe caps with the wire retainer go for $200 in that condition. I will not be bidding on it.
