$10K---For just a little bit of money. It won it's class 42 years ago. Wonder what it ran and what the record for the class is today. Bet there's a huge difference with all the new technology. :)

Looks like some engine work that A.K. Miller did back then, I know he put six side draft carbs on one and ran it. and he also put three 1 barrels on another and ran it too.
    And then there's mine........

I'm still more impressed with Mike Robinson's turbo 300 Maverick that runs in the 10s.

I wonder how problematic the belt drive injector pump is. I don`t know if I see $10,000 settin there but I think its totally awesome !

So that is the actual car? and it's never been anything but a race car? That would be sweet, but rip that nasty 6 outta there.

Why would you want to rip out the original engine the car ran with at Bonneville?

You can get a junk yard Maverick and swap a 302 in it.

The historical value of this car is the fact that it ran at Bonneville w/ an inline 6, not a V8.

Rip the puny 2.2 MFI from Mark Donohue's 1970 Porsche and put in a Chevy 350 while you're at it! :)
