Had to get the blue one out of dads garage where I've been working on it for the last 5 yrs. (New neighbors) wouldnt appreciate the grinding/welding and primeing/painting thats gone on in this garage for 28 yrs... So to keep the peace before any bad blood got started...I moved it to the shop I work at...We have two bays that dont see alot of action, I took over one of em. At least the cars only 10 minutes from home as opposed to 50 minutes now. I will be painting it before summers out if all goes well.
By the looks of it you made out pretty good. What's left before painting? it looks pretty good to me.
Thanks! But... Still have to do the engine comp....Prime and block the body (one more time) blow it apart (again) Seal it and start painting...
What's the plan for that Mav? Will it be a driver, racer, manual or stick? U guy's coming to the RU this year? Enjoy chatting w/ ur dad.
Now that you get to look at it more, it may come together just that much sooner. Having mine right here at home means so much more progress. Can't sleep ... go chip away at something on it ... quietly. Gonna' do that right now....
No round up this year man... My wife and I are going on an alaskan cruise for our 25th...Nothing facy with the car, just a quick street cruiser with a 5 spd...I broke enough stuff on this one drag racing it years ago. I dont want to get too crazy with it...It was a special order car when new and I dont want to deviate too much from its roots.
