Roll bar!

    I was wondering if enybody has made a single roll bar at the window piller? just two points. it would look cool in a two or four door car. pluss it wouldent take up to much space . i would like to see pics and mesurements if eny members have done this? im thinking about getting these made up as i have a good buddy in the tubeing busness.eny help would be cool. thanks(y)

    Sounds more like a clothes rack than a roll bar.

    I think I know what you are describing and it would only be for looks. MAYBE it would help in a low speed roll over but unlikely.. It needs to be tied in in several places. Search around here and get some ideas .. There are pics doing so also.

    IT could hurt you in a crash. I wouldnt do it. Tie it in properly.

    ha ha na im thinkin about the bar for looks it wuldent take up much space an i could tie it into the trunk pan threw the rear deck lid.

    if your going that far into it, id suggest just putting a 4 or 5pt cage..because the way you just explained that..my cage runs down through the package tray and to the subframe in the trunk..you may just want to look into that and end up with something that is also functional rather then looks.
