Well the accelerator cable seams to be a little stiff since i swapped out the 6cyl for the 302. it is bent into quite an "S" shape. so i bought a new cable that is 8in shorter(V8 Length) my question is how much of a job is this to change? Can it be unhooked from the pedal from out side the fire wall? or do i have to crawl under the dash? Not easy for me to do,im lot a little guy 6ft 290 lbs, and my little boy thats helping me is 6"4 300lbs (football player) we dont fit under very well...LOL

Sorry big guy but you are going to have to crawl under the dash to unhook the cable from the pedal.

Follow the pedal with your hand and you can unhook it without much issue
