It will be in the garage, but I was hoping to have it covered when it was in the garage.

The car should be painted and home in the next couple of weeks. Let the assembly begin.

One thing I did find overall, is that you may need to go up a step from what current cars covers are sized for if rated for new cars. Modern cars are more compact, and I tried one for a "mid-size" car ... (not sure ... been a while) ... I ended up bringing it back because it was too small for my Comet.

Also, if the car is stored indoors vs. outdoors, comes into play. I don't remember specifics, but that may be something to research with the cover companies for their best ideas regarding your usage.

I use one of those thin blue breathable ones, for inside. I found it on sale for 30 bucks one time, works well. I think it was branded by Simoniz.

Don't buy the cheap ones off eBay. They don't last. I have had a Covercraft Technalon cover for 25 years and it is now time for replacement.

I agree on the Noah fabric, overkill for inside the garage but is thick enough to protect from the accidental bumps. Now some use a quality lightweight dust shield type cover indoors and a seperate cover for outdoors while on the road.

By the way you can get a fitted cover from Covercraft or a universal fit in the Noah material. There is also California Car Cover but seems you pay a premium there but they do have nice products.
