i would like to know how many people here own a comet and not a maverick

    i've noticed that most of the people at this sight own mavericks and not comets so i was just wanting to see how many people have comets.

    I own a 1974 Comet

    I own a 1974 Comet- putting in a 351W.

    board 11 over, Isky cam 232@.50 .517 lift, mallory unilite,
    victor jr intake, stock 351 heads that are ported and polished with larger valves and comp cams springs and comp cams
    adjustable full roller rockers ($400 dam expensive), holly 750 dbl pumper, too dam much to list and remember.

    411 gears, 4000 stall converter, rebuilt c4 with kevlar, shortened
    drive shaft engine moved back 4 inches

    still a work in progress...just got the headers a while back from doug thorley...engine swap.

    I just had a 74 4 door given to me a few days ago. I love the car so I joined this board. Fun car to drive. Going to fix it up. Does not need much, though. Just want to make it more personal. In the spirt of Hot Rodding.
