C4 to PG Swap...

    I'm swapping out the C4 for a powerglide...what issues has anyone run into with this? Trans tunnel clearance? Header issues? Trans mount location? Etc...

    Thanks for any input...

    And please...not 15 responses explaining why I'm stupid for making the switch. I'm looking for real-world experiences from people who have actually made this swap...not second and third hand possible stories from a friends brothers third cousin.

    I made the switch to a glide, no clearance issues in the tunnel....but I dropped the engine/tranny 2". I made a custom tranny mount that is incorporated into the roll cage so that doesn't help you much either. Oh yeah, why would you want to switch to a glide!!:coco:

    Fits the tunnel fine, should fall close to the factory crossmember but will have to drill mount hole

    Dont forget to regear the car
