unfortunetly, I'm afraid it already has--just in the three months since I parked it in my garage. Seems that a giant slab of steel that is 10 foot long or so by 5 feet wide serves a great platform to store more items that won't move anytime soon.

My friends parents did this, and now you literally can't see at all the two model A's that are in the garage for the past 30 years.

On the other hand, the REAL present to my car is my mom finally telling me she will help me finance the restoration starting in MARCH!

ANGRY BISON--that is one HELL of a watch!!!! how did you do it? is it sold somewhere and I have never seen it before, or did you make it yourself?? Let me in on the scoop---Something like that would sell like hotcakes--but I just want one for myself.

The 70 Grabber had a huge box from the NPD Santa under the tree:

    windshield washer pump
    day/night mirror
    rubber pedal for dimmer switch
    oil pump driveshaft
    magnetic drain plug,
    plus much more.

    In transit from Jegs:
    aluminum C-4 tranny pan

    Merry Christmas

For what it is worth...Mavericks never had a rubber pedal on the dimmer switch.

I saw the pedal in NPD's catalog and figured I'd order one and take a look. It fits and looks okay. Just a little dress up, kinda like those ugly "fake mags" available in the sixties.

Next I'll be installing green shag carpet on the rear package tray (or whatever that thing under the rear window is called).

I got the Mustang rubber pad for my Maverick also. Anyone know where to get the SHAG carpet used in the LDO Mavericks?

My car is getting a set of powder coated valve covers, as soon as I get them to Tracy. Gonna have the Mav emblem on them. Should be pretty nice. I, on the other hand, will get a jacket...when the funds come in.
