New Pic of Car with Fiberglass hood and pins...

    I had the hood inserts smoothed in and I installed the hoodpins. The vents were also cut out and stainless steel mesh inserts were fabbed and installed.

    Very nice. What company did you end up going with for the hood? I'll probably end up going fiberglass as a steel grabber hood will be next to impossible to find.

    Actually, the hood was given to me when I got the car, but it was unpainted and unfinished. I think U.S. Body source has some nice looking products though. I will probly go with them when I but the hood for my Truck.

    Is that metalflake behind the airfilter, under the hood? Looks like classic "Bassboat" 1970s big flakes.
