I'm new here and wanted to say hello! I just got a 1970 Maverick and my daily driver is a 1973 VW Beetle. The 70 will of course, become a daily driver also. It's a POS right now, but I'll be doing a LOT to it and ordered a bunch of things already.

I plan on painting it in grabber blue with some nice seats in blue and beige. It's not going to be stock with the paint I plan, but will be a nice daily driver, when it's not raining LOL.

You all can laugh, but I love it! My first nice car was a 1970 Boss 302. But honestly, I love this Maverick. I remember one up the street in grabber blue (same as my boss) with c-stripes on it (can't seem to find those on line).

Here's a picture of my POS, that I love...

Thanks rusty, bet mine is more rusty than yours? LOL

Just had all the rust cut out of the floor pans and new pieces welded in :-D

I love my new rust bucket!

    Thanks for the welcome!

Nice, hope you don't find what I did LOL

Mine sat outside in a field here in Idaho for about 17 years. It shows. But all surface rust for the most part so it's all good :)

Nice to meet you from Idaho!

Oh, I'm the second owner of the car. They told me they hit a snow bank back 17 years ago and when they did that they parked the car in the field and bought something with front wheel drive... Cool to be a second owner :)

Floor pans are done, had a friend do it so it was cheap. Now I have to get the rest of the rust out of it and spray. I hope yours is good too. My very very first car was a 1962 Ford Falcon, second a 1964 Impala, then the Boss. I miss the old days when you could buy your first car for $75.00 and second for $150.00 - the good old days ahahaha
