    I bought a 74 4 door with the simple intention of driving it to work. I had a BMW and loved my car, I sold it because I was sick of the payment and sick of my kids trashing it with stickers and french fries, I am outnumbered severely by children. I found the Maverick on the side of the road with a welcoming spray painted sign that said $900. I paid $700. Both front tires blew out within a week and the radiator bled itself dry. I catch a lot of grief from the boys at work since the car is almost as old as their mother's and I left one day in a beemer with 20's and showed up the next morning in the brown bomber. The car has a six in it and I am not sure where the box of parts is that came off of it. But despite everything that is missing and the rest that is leaking, the car has not let me down. I must say also that I have become oddly fond it and never knew how many other people have an interest in these relics. So for now, I just wanna say hello and read some stories and ask some questions.
