I guess that depends on if you don't want it anymore ........ If it is just a matter of money and you really like the car ...... keep the car .... there is always more money to be had. If you want a different car ... then sell it and get what you want.
if you thought your car was worth what you paid for it at the time then you didnt over pay. if you like it keep it. sometimes you find better deals than the one you found on your car but that doesnt necessarily mean you over paid. look at all of the positive things on your car and any work already done on your car compared to this deal. depending on what state youre in better deals than that can be had. I bought my 72 comet with a STRONG running 302 for $500 it had a bad transmission and only a back seat but it was clean. and Ive bought two other comets for $375 each both running dont stress on over paying for what youve already bought just keep an eye out for better deals ahead.
so, do you think someone else will now "overpay" so you can get your money back... I don't think you thought this post all the way through before you posted it...
how do you know you over payed for it? a rust free car is worth alot more up here then it would be down south....
Dude, get used to that in life! I can go into Walmart and get a new battery and tomorrow it's 25% off! It's happened to me all my life and now that I'm older, I don't let it bother me! Just be glad you got the car you did and enjoy it!!
everyone overpays for old cars if not when you buy it its when you build it and make it what you want thats part of the hobby if you want to invest your money then put it in a 401k old cars are money pits you will not get back what you invested 99 percent of the time but boy when its done it sure is fun thats what it is all about
