Filled in all the little dents and sanded, filler is hard to sand when the humidity is high like it was this morning, just gummed up my paper, made me use nine sheets/disc, I put the filler on yesterday, started removing stripes, cut back glass away from the weatherseal, started the hunt for a trunk/rear deck lid, so many little dents but I'm better at fixing dents than I am at fixing rust.

I went out and rubbed my butt against my green car, just for something to do.

Boiling water, muriatic acid and propane torch will get it off...rinse and repeat as needed. Or wait a week or two

Ready to go racing..........................just need some place to go and find out if the brakes will stop the Maverick in a straight line at over 100mph.

Hands are still black. but i got the floor pan welded in around the sub-frame and along a few parts...fits pretty daam amazing.
question though.. should i weld bolh the top side and bottom (i overlapped the old metal with the new pans) or should i just weld the top and seam seal the bottom? i was thinking just to weld it all up?

Thanks for the info. I'll be using some Por-15 really soon and will make sure to wear gloves.(y) I probably wouldn't have if I didn't read this.
