body contour

I was roaming around wasting time today and came across a comet 4 door setting unloved in a driveway. well anyway after talking to the nice lady she said it was a 71 but the problem I have is the trunk lid and the 1/4 extensions were rounded like the 75 I had it has small bumpers and nothing looks out of place. the lady said she bought it new and she gave it to her daughter a couple years ago so her daughter is the second owner. she says its original but the body contours are different than my 72

are the 4 door cars all contoured like this?

 

That looks like a '74. The trunk lid & 1/4 extentions were different on the 4 doors.

Well, theres a 4 door maverick in my apartment complex. its a 75-77 not sure exactly, but it looks like that in the back.
