Hello to every one i am darrel from the good old uk . can some one tell me where to find the starting motor on my ford mavrick petrol 1997 . i have looked but i can not find it ,but i know it's there lol .. thank you
This message board is based on the 1971-1977 Ford Maverick and like bodied cars. We probably can't help you on a 1997.
and take a look at the pictures of Mavericks in the Gallery and you will see that we don't do the 4 x 4 Mavericks
I'm almost positive there is a 4x4 maverick in the gallery. I think someone put a picture of that one on the 4 Runner chassis. Welcome to the boards, I'd imagine your starter motor is somewhere underneath your engine near where it joins the transmission. If it's a sideways engine look for the battery then look under the engine on the side the battery is on. Usually the starter is on the same side of the engine as the battery.
A 1997 Maverick is a export Escape. The starter is located on the drivers side of the engine under the car. If it is AWD you will have to remove the exhaust pipe to get to the starter. Make sure you disconnect the battery first. Just sayin.
i think you will find that it is a gq? nissan patrol with TB42 petrol engine or TD42 diesel engine(both are nissan engines) check out ebay australia, theres lots of listings for them
this is the one I thought he was asking about.. http://www.desperateseller.co.uk/used-cars/advert/31281737/104894
