Oil pan options

I wanted to put a cobra t-oil pan on the 302 in the Mav, but after looking underneath it appears nothing but the factory one will fit. Is anyone using a higher capacity pan in their Mav or Comet? If so, who made it.

I have the same pan but it's on a 351w.

 

I have a 9 Quart pan similar to the Milodon on mine, bought it on ebay.

 

Thanks guys. When I got the Mav with the 302, I never thought I would be limited as to what pan would fit this vehicle.

 

Yes, unless you change the suspension to Mustang II/III it's almost impossible. But, you can a pan specially made for you by Canton. They used to make a stock type pan where the sump was extended down toward the ground another 3 to 4 inches.....................kind of limited.

 

I use a canton 15-630 but you have to modify the lower arm mounts, very quick and easy to do but there is cutting and re welding to do.

 

Have you done this and could you share some photos?
