    Hi All,
I hope everyone had a pleasant Christmas!
My name is Mike. I am here because I have started a major project. I am transplanting a 302 & a C-4, disk brakes, (hopefully 4 wheel) and a few other things into my son's '62 Comet Custom.
This is a car I bought for my son (Bryan) several years ago as his first car. It has an inline six with a three on the tree. The entire drive line has issues and I'm tired of trying to find parts and wondering where it will leave him stranded.
Currently Bryan is at Air Force basic trng and will be going on to tech school which will give me approx 4 months to complete this project in my driveway. He has no idea I am doing this for him and I am looking forward to surprising him.
That being said, I have always been a Chevy guy so all this FOMCO stuff if foreign to me so please forgive me if I come across as being ignorant in the questions I am sure to ask.
    Thanks!
    Mike

    right place??

OK, as I am looking here it appears that the majority if not all conversations relate to the newer models. Is this the right place to find info for my son's '62??

Yes, you will notice that this forum focuses on the 1970-77 Mavericks and Comets. Although, there are a few people around who have experience with the full size Comets. Check out this part of the forum for some info: http://mmb.maverick.to/forumdisplay.php?f=49
