    Hello all!
Honestly, I'm on here for my Mom. She bought her 75 Maverick 2 door new. The passenger side molding has been partially torn off and needless to say, she's very upset with herself. We have a guy from a local(Maryland) body shop looking for a replacement with no success so far. I don't know car terms. Don't drive, but Burney(his name!! not sure of spelling. has to do w/color) has been a very important part of our lives. I can only describe the molding as silver with a leather like strip inside it. Is this a lost cause? Besides the rust, my Mom has kept him in amazing condition. She get's lots of compliments and offers to buy it, but there's no way she's ever parting with her buddy. No way!!

    Thanks
Sorry for the lack of a photo. She's a bit nervous about putting his image out there.

I want to see if I can get a close up of the molding that's left first, but thanks so much for the suggestion!!

Pictures would help a bunch. I would probably have the trim you need. Email me DIRECTLY (see below) if I can help.

I am going to assume that "Barney" is purple?? I wonder if this is the original colour? If it is, the paint code on the door sticker would be blank and the DSO code would be longer than two characters.

    We need pictures!:thumbs2:

    ...wondering...
people that don't post pics...do they keep their cars in the garage as so no one will see it...do they drive it with a car cover on it when they take it out...
:hmmm:...when they blur out the tag # in pics, do they take the tag off when driving it in public...

    ...:D...

Here's some up close pics. Didn't know it would annoy people so much, but it's my 74 year old Mom's wishes.
The close up is for detail. If you can tell, one is the side that's missing some molding The passenger side.
The other is the drivers side so you can see what it should look like.
PS-No need to make fun of my Mom. Different era. Seriously.
