Personally I saw keep the 6. Throw on a 2bbl car, dsii distributor, new exhaust/header, and some head work with the t5 and keep it as a cruiser.

does your car have a manual trans or a automatic?
if you have a manual, you can easly swap to a t5. if its an auto you cant use the auto bell housing and that is just the start of the problems to be figured out for a t5 swap.

Thinking about putting a cam in my 3.3. Thinking about flat top pistons, new rings, dual pattern cam (264/274). I'm currently building a head with 1.6 adjustable rocker, new springs, retainers, and seals. I already have the DSII and the 2 bbl carb. So just getting pieces here and there. It won't be a power house by any means but I think it'll make a fun street motor with decent mileage.

hmmm, I think your the first person who has given me any real insight as to building the six, plenty of people have offered the option, but your the first to really say how...wherr do you find the parts and stuff, I've looked at like jcwhitney and jegs and whatnot, but they only offer the 250/300

Classic inlines should have everything you need. Falcon six hand book has all the how tos and ford six has all the people you need. Clifford has products too but i prefer classic inlines. He's a good guy and very helpful.

Someone was also selling a cyl3/cyl4 exhaust port divider claiming around 10% increase in horsepower. It may have been Auto Krafters.

That's Clifford. From what I read and decided to believe it was just for a more throaty sound. Nobody has really claimed an increase in performance from research I've done. But I guess it can't hurt
