I know its a day early but, with everything that I have going on tomorrow (frying a couple of turkeys and family coming) I would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and to remember the troops that are overseas at this time. Keep them in your prayers tomorrow. Its hard enough being over there, especially during this time. Tomm
Happy Turkey Day! I'm flying to NY tomorrow so will be off the board until next week. Mom and Dad don't have a PC .......
Do not forget how fragile life is.Let your loved ones KNOW how you feel.My girlfreinds dad passed away last night. Not so happy today, but still blessed by GOD.Time to count our blessings............!!!!!!!!!!!

you have my condolences fomodave. sorry to hear that. tomorrow is thanksgiving and i have so much to be thankful for. good friends, good family, and good food. let's eat.
Happy Turkey Day to all. We all have so much to be thankful for. I won't be spending T-day with my family but with friends. Safe journey to all those out on the roads or in the sky. Also a special prayer to those who are in harm's way in Iraq, Afghanistan, and across the world, especially to our friend Aaron who is in Iraq somewhere (special forces, should be home sometime in December!). Have a good weekend and save room for turkey sandwiches!
I would like to second everyone's emotions and statements. Also, I'm sorry about your loss, FoMoDave. On a similar note, I believe there are two parts to Thanksgiving: 1.) Being THANKFUL. Take the time to realize your blessings (not to mention, blessings in disguise), fortunes (tangible or not), and family. 2.) GIVING. Show someone else you care about them. A kind word or gesture sometimes goes farther than a large monetary donation. Give another person something to be grateful for. Finally, I would like to, personally, extend my fondest regards towards everyone and theirs throughout the holiday season and new year. Warmest wishes to all, Eric M. Kurelowech (silver70)
Condolences to you FoMoDave. I have so much to be thankful for, and we got 6" of snow, WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Dan

happy turkey day to all on a comet related note, my wife and daughter and THEIR 4 dogs just left to go to Nacogdoches (bout 90 miles from house to house) in the comet ...... I have to p/u grandma and drive her to thanksgiving tomorrow (40 miles north then turn around and go 130 miles south) or I would have gone and we would have taken the van ...... but the wife just called from about 15 miles away and asked about the smell of something burning from the rear of the car and said the rear wheels were hot ....... told her I would be there in a min ........ called back and said OOOPS ..... emergency brake was on oh well, love em now ........... Robert p.s. I guess now I'm glad I bought the rear shoes and cylinders but haven't put them on yet ....... procrastination pays!!!!!!
