I WAS JUST TRYING TO ORDER A FORD HISTORY 999 REPORT FROM FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE & WAS INFORMED THEY ARE NOT FREE ANYMORE. 1ST YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE WWW.SHOPFORDGEAR.COM SITE & INPUT YOUR VIN & IT WILL BE EITHER $17 FOR A BASIC REPORT OR $46 FOR A DELUXE REPORT. I HAVE ORDERED PROBABLY A DOZEN OR SO OF THESE REPORTS FOR FREE FOR MY VARIOUS OLD FORD CARS & TRUCKS FOR YEARS-THEY ARE NOT THAT ACCURATE COMPARED TO THE MARTI REPORT, BUT FOR FREE IT WAS OK TO HAVE. WELL, I JUST WANTED TO PASS THIS INFO ON TO ALL.:huh:

Hmmm, I wonder if you really get anything with the deluxe one. Almost worth it just to see.

Maybe they are outsourcing to Marti now. Isn't that the standard price for his reports?

Considering Marti Auto Works is paying royalties to Ford, it's no wonder they aren't giving them away anymore (slight conflict of interest). It's big business, everyone needs a "Marti Report" to verify the car they have is real.

My 999 report on my Stallion stated my car came with power windows. Not real accurate. But my Cyclone Spoiler was accurate.

The information on my 999 did match up with my basic Marti Report :)

The 999 for my 74 Grabber, said it was White & Copper...not Orange, close...

I tried to get one of those years ago when they were free but never could get it to take my VIN number.
