I am New On Here And I am excited to see so many Maverick/Comet fans They were such an under rated car! I am The Proud Second owner of a 76 2 door 302 auto Maverick the car was purchased in South Carolina and still resides there and for now is a daily driver! But That is about to change! I have a 83 ford pick up with a 351 Windsor I want to put a stroker kit in and put it in the Maverick. I plan on changing the front suspension to the newer Mustang type any thought on the stroker kits I was thinking 427; I also would like to put rear window louvers on like were on the Mach 1 cars any one know who makes them or where they can be purchased? Thank You for Having me! P.S. I would not trade my Maverick for ten Mustangs!!!

Welcome to the board. Good luck with your Mav. Type in louvers in the search section. They are not really available any more, but a set has been known to show up. $$$$$:Welcome:

Welcome to the site! It sounds like you have a solid car! Share some pics, please! As others have said, the louvers are not made anymore and are very, very expensive when found.

The 'Search' engine on this forum will be your best friend. There is tons of good information about these cars on this site. Check out the Tech section for your stroker questions.
