thanks for the welcome, I bought my maverick 2 years ago and have been in love with it ever since. when I bought it , it was mostly original except the paint ( red/ orange ) and conversion from column to floor shift. the car had sat through hurricane katrina. I have changed the front seats, ( found build sheet under original bench, now in my garage for seating) changed engine and transmission which I got from a rear ended 73 comet ( 302 / automatic ) and my dad painted the maverick stallion logo on the hood. rebuit suspension and brakes and lots more minor stuff. I am currently driving the car every day so I have picked uo a second project, a 1962 ford econoline truck that will be getting the maverick's original 200 inline six. I like the pics of the red and black mavericks sent in response to my first post, thank you
