engine rebuild ?

    77 ford maverick, 69 ford custom 500, 94 ford explorer
    Would it be cheaper to rebuild my stock 200ci engine or to replace it with a 302?

    70 mav, 71 grabber, 73 Comet, 2004 f-250 crew cab diesel, 2001 f-250, 2004 explorer, 2007 Gold Wing trike.
    Depends on what you want to end up with. If the goal is a 302 car then rebuilding the 200 is money thrown away. If you still need a 302 you may have to get that rebuilt anyway, unless you know the car it came out of. I guess the answer is the 200 would be cheaper if you would be keeping it that way.:)

    It just dont have any pickup and go I was following my dad in his 69 ford custom and he leave my in the dust and it only has a 240
