New MII suspension, any hints/suggestions for possible installation glitches?

    My spindles are non-drop new. The tubular control arms, springs, etc are from CPP Classic Performance Products, listed as Mustang II parts.

    not sure of the spindle brand or source.

    Remember the stock MII rotors are 4 lug. You will need a set that are 5 lug to use your current wheels. Speedway Motors and others sell them new.

    The stock rotors are 9 inches in diameter on a Mustang II so the bolt on caliper frame should be spacing the caliper out to pick up that 9 inch rotor diameter - I'm thinking that the Cobra II stuff was 11 inch rotor/5 lug and may have had a different frame to mount the calipers out further - that is why I just went aftermarket with the 11 inch Granada rotors

    I'm going with Cobra brakes with mine. Mustang Steve has a kit for Mustang II style spindles....and I already have the brakes anyways. :yup:

    Frank was being somewhat generous on the steering. There is much work to be done to the lower column. Like disassembling it, cutting off the bottom 6 or 8 inches, fitting the new lower bearing, tacking it in, etc. I had more time invested in reworking the column than I did in installing the suspension.

    It's been a few years but IIRC, the instructions covered all the replacement part numbers necessary for any kind of rebuild.

    Cobra II brakes are the same as the standard mustang II stuff

    9" diameter rotor and 4 lug
