pulled the engine/trans from the '72 4 door, headliners out, heating stuff is out, wiper motor..wiring harness...and tons more now i have massive piles of parts and need to take the day tomorrow - going to put down plywood in the attic of the shop for storage and wire some lights up in there..then maybe put a bunch of spare junk up there..maybe then pull the powersteering stuff (doesnt leak) and then push it to where i can steal the leafs and rear end.

and took the bench seat to a friends house hes going to use it in his old chev ratrod.

heres my most recent pictures and current condition of my 302 that is to be put into my 71 maverick in the next month or so. just painted it and cleaned up the heads intake etc and got them bolted back on and all sealed up (intake not shown)... obviously... and got the water pump on and alternator bracket. im excited for when i get to drop this baby in!... sadly however it will be dropped in with my stock c4 transmission as im not up for a manual t5 conversion at the moment

Took it to my first Cars & Coffee this weekend and also got it up to 70mph for the first time. I need a 4th gear.
I was really happy with the attention it got at the C&C. The main phrase being, "You dont see these cars much anymore"

71 gold is right, go with AOD, I have way too much invested in my c4 to go and build a AOD or else I would.

Today I got the engine from the '72 degreased and stored, my brother continued to strip misc parts.. I layed playwood down in the shop attic and built an access to store my abundance of extra parts I just can't throw away.. Put a them all up there (still Tons of roof left!) if it doesn't rain tomorrow I'll cut Rockers off the parts car.. Take the non leaking ps off.. And maybe rear end/ leafs. If it rains... Body work on the comet.

Ordered a p/stg-water pump belt for the Comet so I could drive it more. The one on it is about to fall off and will not adjust anymore.

haha no :( just bad spelling.

i abandoned some plans today but i still did a few things..Dad called me to wire his kitchen for him..so i did that and when i finished i went and worked on the comet for a bit, welded on the driver side quarter drop..blasted a few patch panels..took the door hinges off the 4 door..pins are new so ill use them on the comet as well.
