The Maverick in my signature is the first V-8 I've owned; My others were big bumpered 74+ and the Comet was a 1977. I owned a 1974 two-door in high school and took a girl home I wanted to date when she asked me for a ride. (I pulled away from the curb and left her then-boyfriend standing there; he didn't have a car. This was the yellow and rust 1974 dad had.) My 30th high school reunion was last summer and of course, I had to drive it! My girlfriend was there and she asked if we could go for a ride. When my wife said it was O.K., we went for a ride. She still calls it the "Trans-Mav"! Craig.

My maverick was my grandfathers that he purchased in 2001. Doctors told him a few years back that he shouldnt drive any longer and he gave it to me since Ive done alot of the upkeep to it.

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
My uncle and father used to own it before I had it and it was my first car so it has tremendous value. Don't think I'll ever get rid of it, unless it's ever in an accident.

I have a lot of sentimential value in my Comet. I was raised in this car! My Mother bought it new off the showroom floor in Rome, GA and she gave the car to me a couple of years ago. And it will go to my oldest Son when the time is right. We love the little car and it has always been there for us when all the other cars and trucks were "down". And rest assured, I can go out there now (even though it has sit in the building for over a year with little done to it!) and hit the switch and she will fire up as usual! Love my Bear Cat! She's as Wild as the Cat she was named after! lol

I bought my Sprint new in May of 72 and drove it to high school for 2 weeks before graduating.
